    Default Yankeetown inshore 11-24

I have out of town family in for a few days and they convinced me to head out today inspite of the weather and put them on some fish.
Headed south of Yankeetwon and had a low tide all day, made it to our first spot and caught about 20 small reds, next bar we picked up 1 22 inch keeper and another 20 small reds.
Stopped at the hot water discharge and caught 6 nice sized jacks (gonna make smoked dip out of them for thanksgiving)
Jacks make a great smoked fish... really.
anyhow it started raining and we started heading for the dock, then I made one more stop and we managed to grab a fat 25 inch red to add to our supper.
    That is all..
was cold and wet out there, I did take a couple of pics but left the camera in my office at the ************************.

Sounds like a good day Ed. I caught a jack and hooked a Tarpon down in Port St. Lucie today with Capt. Melly B.
    Any nearshore grouper yet?

Nice job Ed. Surprised aboiut the jacks. I know some swear by them, but I can't get past using them for bait. Take a picture of said dip when you get it made and post it back.

Very nice. I was hitting the litle reds like crazy a couple of weeks ago. we got some keepers but the rats were thick. Still fun, expecially when I went to the bait rod with 6lb test.

Keep the reports coming. I need to live vivcariously though you guys lucky enough to live near the water.
