Hit the SLI around 6am this morning on a solo trip to Jupiter to do some High Speed trolling for some Wahoo...
Stopped at Bullshark with only one lone blue runner and a couple of grunts. Worked my way south and managed to pick up some more small runners and a couple of Sardines... Just in case you forgot what they look like, I snapped a couple of pictures :biglaugh:
Took a couple of abstract pictures. Can you tell what they are?
Heres the livewell after a couple hour search for some baits... Good enough to head south...
Heres the crew at Pecks Lake hitting the Mack bite... The water temp in this area was 73-75 degrees from Bullshark south.
Made the run south and arrive at the ledge off of Jupiter and dropped in my TB2 lure from Rays Offshore Tackle. Did the zig/zag across the ledge for about 5-6 miles with no takers. Came up to some scattered weeds and dropped in some liveys... Had a hit is short order, but all I brought back to the boat was this:
That was the order of the day. I had about 5 lost fish today all on the short bite. Took a picture of these guys fishing with Palm Beach in the back ground.
Had this guy buzz by a few times...
Decided to run out to deeper water then head back north... Had one sardine left and wanted to put it to good use. Found this nice rip in 210ft due east of Hobe Sound.
No takers here either, but it was the most promising spot of the day..
Here is the only thing I caught all day today:
How did you all do today?
