Fort DeSoto Wading Sunday

I went out to Fort DeSoto Sunday morning to meet up with SnookMook and a couple of guys from Deep West Central to do some wading.

I caught a few nice trout early in the morning at a couple of spots near the toll bridge. Nothing to write home about.

I then found SM and the other guys and I caught a couple of decent flounder. It was windy as hell, and the water was pretty cold, but fishing is fishing. The other guys caught some nice flounder as well.

SM took some pics. He sent me the photos, I was gonna put them up, but then he told me he was gonna write up a report or column. We fished together, but weren't really that close. You know how wading is.

It was a lot of fun meeting up and fishing with some of SM's Deep West Central buddies I've met over in Lakeland at some of the bashes.

Thanks for amending your report with the pics I sent you along with the draft report I wrote up. I screw up cutting and pasting crap from the company email all the time. It took me a year to learn how to use that system. LOL

You better watch out if you start hanging with the Deep West Crew. You might want to check with your doctor first.
