I would say my ultimate dream trip outside North America would be to Vanuatu for blue marlin with Capt. Dean Butler.

For saltwater...I've gotta try to get to Tonga...have you seen the ledge ust offshore there on Google Earth?...that's off the hook!...I did some research on it this year, but decided to try Ecuador instead...hope to post some good reports during the annual Trolling Stones International Tour there from January 20 - 24.

For freshwater, it's a toss-up between Chile or New Zealand for trout fishing

My ULTIMATE trip would be a charter off Queensland, Australia for Black Marlin. One of the things on my Bucket List is to round out my Marlin catch&releases, and I need a Black to fill it in. After living in Sydney for a year, I regret never getting to fish up North around the Whitsundays and Cairns.

That would be the dream trip of a lifetime for me, as long as Mr. Marlin makes his appearance.
