Allie and the kids headed down to her grandma's for a few days, so I loaded up the boat and headed to church

Had a great service and headed to North Jax. Put in and fished for a couple hours. I picked up a few trout on jigs with paddle tails in white. then i got way back in the creek and the water was clear and cast to a few reds, but they were spooky and swam off.

I went back to the ramp and picked up a friend and his two oldest boys. We went back to the same area and the boys each caught a trout and then we started casting around the oysters were I had seen the reds on the low tide. I picked up a nice 20inch red. It was cold, but I was warm I was wearing.

Waders (blocked the wind great!)

long sleeve shirt,
Carhart Jacket,
facemask,
stocking cap,
gloves.

Didn't even feel a little cold!
