Well one of the joys of having a job on the water is being able to fish when all the work is done. And since there hasn't been much to do it's just been a matter of time until I actually found a fish.
Today I was fishing a ultra light Shimano Compre and a Sahara 1000, 10# PP, with a 1/8 oz CAL jig head and a CAL paddle tail. Fished a couple of deep pockets, waded down the shoreline a little ways to another dock, and really didn't see much of anything. Water is still really cold, and besides lots of small (like 1-2") minnows, there's not much bait to speak of.
The conditions were about as nice as you could ask for (well maybe a little warmer).
I did find a few fish though!

Seeing how you're getting paid to fish, does that mean you can take charters out now?
Good pics Jimmy.
The only people that tell you it can't be done are the people who haven't done it themselves.
