Had the opportunity to fish today with Paul Stokes, a recent Feeding Frenzy Academy graduate, on what turned out to be a rare sunny, warm day in Southwest Florida. We headed down to Blackburn Bay in Paul's brand new Andros Boatworks 26 where we found very clean water. I have been very fortunate to have fished many boats over the years and I can tell you this: Andros makes one helluva boat- finite attention to detail.
Paul is an avid fly fisherman and he persistently heaved large rabbit stripped flies for two hours straight. It finally paid off when the tide started to move and he landed a beautiful 23" trout on a hand-tied fly. A few Ladyfish kept the rods bent as well. We managed a few more trout in the 21" range on soft plastics before calling it a day. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon. Thx Paul !
Put your seatbelts on folks cause the weather is about to take another Dump !~!
