One of two fish put on the deck. Most fish seen were very skittish and did not really want to eat, at least nothing we had to offer. Another 25lb fish was caught on an eel.
I had two first shots, one on a little fish that came down the bar on the bottom and turned offshore once he came into jig range. Second fish was even bigger than the one in the picture above. Neither wanted to eat even though I put very nice shots on them.

Thing is a MOOSE for sure. Awesome catch.
This too shall pass.
Beautiful catch! Aren't Cobia called Ling as well? That fish sure looks bigger than 25 lbs. Is the jig by your left foot what you caught it on? I wonder how long it took you to reel him in and hoist him up over the rail?

The jig is on the ground yes. Unfortunately, that was not my fish. I think the guy fought it for about 15-20 minutes before we gaffed it.
