Last two charters were not fly charters, but a great time was had catching snook, reds, and trout on light tackle. Wayne O'Brien, of Gulf Harbors, joined me last Saturday and had a banner day on trout up to 20" on Mirr-O-Lure Mirro-Dines. He took home his limit but release dozens more in the 15-18" range.


Tony Santos and his dad, John joined me on 5/23 for some spin tackle action on Sarasota Bay. A boat slam (snook, redfish, trout) was achieved highlighted by a 28.5" inch redfish caught and released on Long Bar Point. The fish took a Mirr-O-Lure She Dog (96MR BNCH). All other trout (up to 20") and a 24" snook were caught on Mirro-Dines.
