entered the tournament May 7th, it was set for Sat and Sunday,Sat I tried all the rocks I know and came out with zero, tried everything under stars man they did not want to eat, Sunday along with my better half and1st mate Sandy we headed out to a few rocks that i seldom fish, armed with 15 gallons of chum and live greenbacks we arrived, after anchoring since the drift was a little fast for me I started chumming, I rigged a live greenback on Sandys rig and dropped, I rigged with a live bonefish, after 15 minutes Sandys reel goes off, I knew it was a good grouper since the one reel she was using gives up line with grouper being over 65 lbs, she started cranking all I did is give her some moral support, after 15 minutes this huge grouper surfaces, I figured he would weigh 70 lbs back at the marina it came out to 86.9 lbs nice gulf grouper, with that she came in 2nd place won a couple of free nights at some resort and rod and reel, winning gouper weighed 89 lbs, Sandy did a nice job with the tug of war she went through
