Default 10-10-2010 Port Saint Lucie Offshore Fishing Report:

Taking Lonnie and Emmerson out to day... I convinced Lonny we should change up and head to the Hill for BFT instead of only searching for fins based on the bait situation out there. We made some stops on the way out but nothing was chewing anywhere... We arrived at Push Button Hill before the sunrise...

Heres a quick Video on the early morning light at the Hill... Just click the picture...

Put out the normal spread of (2) Daisy Chains and (2) Chuggers... Lines weren't in the water 5 minutes and we had a double header... Heres Lonnie on his fish...

    Heres Emmerson on his fish...

Its been a while since I have just ran out without spending a lot of time for baits.. These next two pics have awesome colors in the morning light...

Lonnie snapped this pic of me while adjusting a rod...

We have another double header... Emmersons hooked up first...

Here comes FishingBuddies trolling by us...

Click the (2) pics below showing the crew on the double header...

Heres Hank, Joann and crew (no sure who else you had with you Hank - Ken?) aboard the Ocean Motion... How did you all make out today?

Heres FishingBuddies again trolling by... How did you guys make out today?

Heres Cal and Tim in Tims new boat... Did you guys hook up any of those BFT on the Hill today?

Got a shout out from Jason (Kansas Jayhawk) aboard the Sea Cal... How did you all make out today on the Hill?

Lonnie must have snuck this pic of Emmerson on the deck... He seems to take a lot of naps out there... Must be we are wearing him out on all those fish... Lonnies 73 years old and he doesn't need a nap :biglaugh:

Sea Cal & Kansas Jayhawk gave us a shout out and offered us some baits... :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: Thanks a bunch guys for the mullet... It was greatly appreciated... I owe you guys...

Heres Sea Cal after we left them from picking up some baits from them..

We run in to 130ft to a nice rip with weeds and drop in the mullet and then Lonnie pulls this out and commences to eat it... :eek3:

About and hour goes by with out one bite and we start threatening Lonnie for bringing a Banana onboard :biglaugh: We question his swimming skills as we were quite a few miles offshore :biglaugh:

As we are drifting the liveys, Ocean Motions Crew trolls by... Congrates on the BFT Joann... I knew you could out fish Hank :biglaugh: How did your day end up Joann & crew?

Scuppers is the next forum member to troll by us... How did you guys make out today?

We decided to hit my Vermillion Snapper spot with no luck... Had a couple of bits but all we could hook up with was the bottom... We decided to call it a day and just stop on the way in if we spotted anything fishable... We came across a bucket in 65ft straight out the SLI loaded up with Triple Tail...

The Triple Tail left the bucket to swim with my motor for awhile...

This brought in the Fins... Emmersons hooked up in short order... I gave Jason and the Sea Cal crew a shout out about the fins as it was their baits that allowed us to catch this fin... Thanks again guys...

    Lonnies hooked up next...

We had a school of about 10 5-10lbers around the boat that would not take anything we threw at them... They wouldn't take chunk bait, live bait nor a lure I toss at them... :bang: :bang: :bang: This is two days in a row that this has happened... Does anyone know what will work in this senerio?

    Heres Lonnies fin...

Emmerson hooks up an Atlantic Sharpnose Shark...

Sea Cal and FishingBuddies arrived to see if anything they had in their bag of tricks would work on these fins... How did you all make out after we left guys?

    Todays Tally:

10 BFT - We lost about 4-5 others
    2 FINS
    1 Atlantic Sharpnose Shark
1 Crab that we dip netted and let loose just before we hooked up on the fins... :bang:

Heres the crew with there fins back at the dock as we didn't have time to snap them on the boat with all those fins around us...

Emmerons said his fin was bigger...

    Lonnie said his was...

I will let you all decide... These guys have been in a battle since the AJ's they hooked into a few months back :biglaugh: Lonnies 73 and brings up a fish like a pro... Emmerson is still taking Curve Classes... But hes getting better... :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

Awesome! Those Bluewater's are really, really nice boats. Looks to be a 2550. My buddy has a 2350.

Since Emmerson took a nap, he loses. The one on the right is bigger.
The only people that tell you it can't be done are the people who haven't done it themselves.
