Sunrise from the Hill...
No luck highspeed trolling with the exception of losing my TB2 Bluewater lure to something... Vinny (VinDawg on the forum) was hooked up on the daisy chain in short order...
Double header... My oldest son Gary on another BFT...
Vin hooked up again... Non-stop action from 6am till we left the Hill around 11am
I wore the crew out so they even let me step up to the plate :biglaugh:
After catching double digits of BFT we headed in to look for a weedline and found this nice rip in 200ft. Found nothing on it and continued westward...
Vinny spots this baby shoe floating off in the distance... I told the crew things are only gonna get better now... :biglaugh:
We found some scattered weeds and a small rip in 65ft just east of Evans Crary and put out the spread and Garys hooked up to a fin in short order... Gotta love those shoes :biglaugh:
We spotted some debris and fins crashing the surface so we trolled by that with nothing chewing... Since we had no liveys we opted to go back and chunk up so dines and see what happens... Vinnys line get nailed by this Atlantic Sharpnose...
Gary hooks one up as well so we opted to rig up a hoo and troll around here and it wasn't even a minute and Vinny hooks up a fin...
VinDawgs Fin... Congrats Vinny
We called it a day early and headed in... At the park we had a nice lady from FWC doing a survey on what fish we caught... We let her on board and she weighed, measured and counted all the fish... 12 BFT's and 2 fins... She was a happy camper as I guess not to many people would give her the time of day...
Heres a couple of cool pics for your desktop... I like the motor shot as it makes me feel like I am out there... :biglaugh:
Gotta love that 13 second wave seperation. 4 to 6 foot seas were quite pleasant... Glad I made the call to head out today with great company... I had a blast guys, anytime you want to go, just let me know
Great catchin and it looked like an awesome day on the water.
This too shall pass.
