---I know that this the fishing report section but I couldn't find any other
regional sections. Our club is free and open to all.----
Dear friend, A Happy and safe Thanksgiving from the Hollywood Hills Saltwater Fishing Science and Social Club.
Our next HHSFSSC meeting will start at 7 pm on Tues, 12/7, at Boson Johnny's Bar and grill, 2120 N Dixie Hwy, Hollywood, FL 33020, SW corner of the intersection of Lee St and Dixie Highway in Hollywood (95 to Sheridan St East, right onto Dixie Highway to Lee St on RHS). The meeting will be in the outdoor Tiki Bar. Boston Johnny's is under new management with a new menu, so come early and check it out. There will be a discussion on Sound, Sight, and Smell: What attracts fish? If you would like to sit on the "panel", please let me know. It is very important that we get a good turn-out for this meeting, so please help spread the word, and RSVP.
Our club will be distributing Tarpon DNA-based tagging kits as part of a large tarpon research study. I hope that members of this club can contribute to this important study. It is easy and there are some nice prizes that can be won. See

Professor O, good to see you on the board. I wish I could make the meeting, but I will be up in Homosassa filming. It was great talking the other day. I will ring you tomorrow. Cheers
Reminder and some more news,
Bill from StarBrite will be bringing some door prizes to this meeting. THANKS BILL!!! Tarpon DNA-tagging kits will also be available for free.
The Hollywood Hills Saltwater Fishing Science and Social Club is a free, no dues, fishing club that is open to all. After short presentations on FL's tarpon tagging project, Nova's swordfish satellite tagging project, and an inter-club Sailfish tournament, the feature presentation and discussion will be on What attracts fish: Sight, Smell or Sound? I will be presenting some of the science of ocean sound, fish vision, and smell and a panel consisting of scientists and fishing capts such as Bouncer Smith and Capt Ray Chasteen will give their own perspective followed by audience input and a discussion. I hope you can make this seminar, it will definitely change the way you think about fishing. cheers, O
PS Seth, too bad you are going to miss this one. We'll go over the material next
time you are at the house.
