12-11-2010 Port Saint Lucie Offshore Fishing Report:

Had Jason from Wellington aboard the Alwaysforward today. He is Jah Son on the forum. We exited the pocket to foggy conditions. We putted our way to the SLI to some nice rollers coming in. We headed to the bait spots and loaded up the wells with blue runners.

Heres the sunrise finally peeking thru the fog around 7:30am.





We hit the AJ spot in hopes of bending a rod early but no one was home bright an early. We dropped in some hoos, a chain and a lure and commence trolling towards Push Button Hill.

As soon as we hit the northern tip we hook up a BFT on the chain.









Continued trolling south to the ledge located straight out from the Loran Tower and hooked up another BFT on the chain.





Trolled west from there in search of some weeds. Trolled in to 110ft with no luck. Got a shout out from Ron on the OverSear that there is nice weeds east of SLI around 60ft. We hauled in the lines and made tracks NW... Came across some awesome weed patchs in 75ft just north of the Loran Tower... Heres Jason fighting a nice fin...

We spotted some more fins in this area but never hooked up to them... Called it a day around 4pm...

Spotted this guy at Bullshark Reef on the way in...
