The fishing in Bimini is getting better every day, with more dolphin and blue marlin being caught. I had a blue marlin of 250 pounds last week and jumped off two more this week. Yellowfin tuna should also be showing up as soon as the seabirds show. Trolling has been the key to hooking into wahoo as the boat the Lucky Seven almost lived up to its name and boated 6 wahoo in the 40-pound range along with three mahi to 20 pounds. A lot of barracuda are harassing baits, but guys are keeping many and using them as cut baits for deep dropping to catch yellow eye snapper and queen snapper in the 700 to 1200 foot depths.
