Last minute solo trip = fat vermillions!

Decided late yeterday evening to take a quick morning trip. Made a couple calls but no takers...
Picked up some nice livies from Mom & Pop bait! Got me the Jeremy special!
Ran ENE from PE to 215' & got my limit of vermee's easily. Also caught a nice scamp or yellow mouth that had to go back.
With the offshore light northerly drift I mustered up some courage to go try a few different #'s that have been given to me for goldn tiles.
After the forth manual drop in 500+ I gave up.
There were no signs of live offshore either.
Ran back in & hit a few wrecks. Caught my share of Aj's before wrapping it up.
Got stopped by FWC once inside & they were nice but issued me an "information/warning form". Said it was because I had federal fish???

Back at the ramp was quite the show, lots of boat leaving for the boca bash!!!!!

Yes it is! Some of the answers I've gotten are it's basically a justification of having a job! I've been checked on my last 3 trips now. One guy had the never to ask me "been doing any fishing?" Well I had riggers, 5 rods in holders all on a 20' boat & just cleared the inlet! I felt like slapping him!
