Oct 26 Seminar: Global Warming - The Changing Oceans
PLEASE NOTE NEW DATE FOR SEMINAR: The club is going to postpone the HHSFSSC meeting
scheduled for Sept 28th to Oct 26th. I received a number of requests to move the meeting from members who really wanted to hear Captain Dan Kipnis speak but could not attend. I did not realize that Sept 28th is the first night of Rosh Hashanah when I scheduled the meeting, sorry about that. As a reminder,
We are very pleased to start off our fall seminar series with Captain Dan Kipnis, an award winning
fisherman and conservationist. Capt Kipnis is the Chairman of the Miami Beach Marine Authority and
a committee chair member of the Miami Dade County Climate Change Task Force. He has also served
on the Biscayne Bay Management Committee, Miami River Review Committee, City of Miami Waterfront
Board and was a Commissioner on the State of Florida Marine Fisheries Commission. The topic of his
seminar is "Global Warming - The Changing Oceans". This will be a very informative seminar and I hope
you all can attend. The Oct 26th seminar is at Boson Johnny's Bar and Grill, 2120 N Dixie Hwy,
Hollywood, FL 33020 and starts at 7:30 PM. cheers, O
