Default Winter fishing in Central America

Looking for someplace warm to fish this winter? Think about Central America with it’s great fishing and
    perfect weather conditions.
Guatemala has the world’s best sailfishing. There are a number of American style Fishing lodges there,
or you can go the less expensive route and stay in a local four star hotel on the ocean. All the boats fish out
of the same area, so you’ll have great fishing wherever you stay.
Panama has great fishing for big black marlin and yellowfin tuna, but it also has spectacular reef fishing
for snapper, roosterfish and grouper. But availability is often the problem, so start planning now.
Costa Rica is always dependable with great billfishing on the Pacific coast and tarpon on the Caribbean.
It’s less expensive than you think. For around $1300/person, two of you can have three days fishing with
four nights lodging . Plus it’s a great vacation spot for the whole family.
Give me a call at 631 668 2019, and I’ll set you up with the fishing adventure of a lifetime. The worst
thing that can happen is we’ll spend a little time b-sing about fishing. Or, you can visit my website at

    Capt. Gene,

Great suggestions! If you've never been to Panama you are missing out. Like Gene says the fishing is spectacular and here in the Gulf of Chiriqui, on spots such as the Hannibal Bank and Isla Montuosa, the YFT and Black Marlin bite this February through May should be awesome. Come stay with us on Isla Paridas at our tropical island fishing lodge right in the middle of the Gulf of Chiriqui. Just ask Capt. Gene about us!
