Hello to everyone, I need some expert advice when it comes to fishing out of my yak. I go down every year to Holmes Beach, Fl and I surf fish for a week. I attempt to catch some fish out of my kayak, but this last year I didn't have much luck. I fished with shrimp, pin fish, crabs, with no luck. My guess the water was to warm, but I am looking for any advice from year round anglers from the surrounding areas. I have all the right gear. Also, what is the average water depth around that area? Again and advice would be appreciated and Happy Holidays to all the anglers out there.
