Scam alert!

In these hard economic times crime is on the rise! A new scam has developed here in my home town of Mebane. Older men shopping at Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, etc should be on the lookout. Here's how it works.

As you exit the store with your purchase and open your car door, 2 women dressed in tight fitting clothes will approach and start cleaning your windshield. When you offer them a tip they will decline, but ask if you will give them a ride to the nearest store, gas station, or fast food restaurant. Once they get in the car, they will undress, One will start too crawl all over you while the other is stealing your wallet, watch, or whatever they can find of value.


Last month I was robbed on the 15th, again on the 17th, twice on the 21st and once more on the 24th!
