EVERY SIGN POINTS TOWARD FACEBOOK AND TWITTER....I MEAN....I AIN'T BLIND HERE.

YOU CAN'T RUN FROM THE FACT....NASCAR...NEWS MEDIA....EVERYONE HAS A TWITTER ACCOUNT...SADLY THIS SITE IS DEAD, ACTUALLY IT'S BEEN DEAD FOR A LONG LONG TIME....I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THE SOLUTION IS AND DON'T KNOW IF THERE REALLY IS ONE.......BUT IT'S BEYOND THE RIGOR MORTIS STAGE.

I HAVE BEGGED SOME EDITORS HERE TO PLEASE CONTACT ME TO DISCUSS BUSINESS HERE BUT THAT OBVIOUSLY IS AND WAS A RIDICULOUS REQUEST......I'M CURED....... I WILL NOT BOTHER TO CONTACT THE HEAD HONCHO EDITOR CROWD NO MORE...MY TIME IS MUCH TOO VALUABLE TO BE TRYING TO FIX THE UNFIXABLE


I THINK SPENDING MORE TIME ON TWITTER AND FACEBOOK IS THE ANSWER FOR THE MARINE BUSINESS....I MEAN THEY GIVE US ICONS TO TWITTER AND FACEBOOK TO LEAVE THIS SITE AND GO ELSEWHERE......SO I FOR ONE WILL FOLLOW THEIR ADVICE.

THIS SITE SHOULD HAVE 300-400 REGISTERED READERS ONLINE EVERY MINUTE OF THE DAY

I THINK THAT IPADS AND IPHONES HAVE TAKEN PRECEDENT OVER CHAT FORUMS AND IT IS JUST TOO MUCH OF AN EFFORT TO LOG IN FOR SOME ...

I THINK I WILL START TWITTER WHEN LEAVING THE DOCK AND TWITTER OUR ETA BACK TO THE DOCK FOR THE WATERFRONT THROWDOWN.

I refuse to join Facebook or Twitter. It's a sickness, a disease and most of all an addiction. I love my sweetie to death but her and her sister's head would explode if someone kidnapped their smartphones for 48 hours. It's the last thing she does before she goes to bed and the first thing she does when she wakes up in the morning. Pick up that phone and slide her index finger over the screen for an hour. The kids are just as bad. Evereytime I see them they have their nose in someone elses life. "He said this on facebook" and "she posted that she likes him more than so and so."
I only have hope for Tanner who is 6 and right now would rather spend time outdoors playing sports than looking at a phone screen for hours on end.
Nope, not going to do it. I can chose my friends with out making it official on a social website.
Box, I extend my friend request to you, but you will have to post your answer here, pick up the phone and give me a call, or let me know when I come fishing in May!

Technology evolves and people evolve with it. The business of social media is BOOMING, commercials, sports, entertainment, FISHING these days is all about instant communications. You either embrace change or get left behind.....I'm in the communications business, mostly dealing with the military, and they have had to embrace a Facebook/Twitter like workforce and are adapting to it. As the Gunny said if Heartbreak Ridge, you Adapt, overcome and Improvise. In this case it's adapt....

Hell, you can even call in an ordnance strike with an Iphone App nowadays....crazy...

Bulletin Boards aren't dead, but they are dying quickly...people want instant, mobile communications and that's what social media offers.....Bob

Wait until the offshore season begins......well for you NC guys it never ends (lucky dogs) but I think once everyone from VA-NY starts heading offshore there will be some very good material on here. People will be crawling out from under their rocks soon. Forecast up here for this week is 60-70 degrees so that should help. If it makes you feel any better pretty much all the fishing sites are dead right now. Hang in there bro.

Mako19...FYI...Small Blue Fin showing up out of VB already...although not the same class as January and definately not nearly as close, they are moving around out there....we fished out of Rudee yesterday and this was our action.....plus there was about a 300 pound Mako circling the boat but couldnt' get him to bite anything.....Bob
