Default Charleston, SC, Fly/Light Tackle Report

Spring is in full swing on the waters surrounding Charleston,SC.The Redfish are breaking up out of the large schools on the flats but are more willing to eat now with all the baits fish that have starting to show up in the creeks and warmer water temps. The last couple weeks we have had some flood tides which offer the best action for tailing Redfish with good results and will only get better in months to come. Some Cobia are starting to show up in the Board River and should move up the beaches and stage around in the Shipping Lane Bouys and Wrecks around Charleston inshore/nearshore waters any day now and will hang around for a couple months depending on water temperatures.
