Great Fly Fishing opportunities abound
Spring is here and that means some great fly fishing opportunities! Local rivers have really good fishing for big Bull trout, Cutthroat trout and Dolly Varden. Wilderness lakes have some great fly fishing for Rainbow trout up in the coast range complete with stellar scenery and tranquility. Silversides knows fly fishing for trout and you'll appreciate our passion and excellent service.
On local rivers the Bull trout fishing has been excellent this spring and we are looking forward to more of that right thru until early July. We guide for trout on many local rivers from drive to walk and wade or the famous upper Pitt river which is jetboat access only or heli and offers divinely beautifull scenery set in a remote like river valley giving you the feeling of being days out in the wilderness! Here there are big runs of Bull trout that average 2-3 lbs and can reach over 15 lbs!
During May and June there is excellent fly fishing on our wilderness lakes for Rainbow trout. Our gfully guided trips are single day or multi day with cabin lodging near a handfull of prime lakes. Rising trout, wildlife(deer, moose, bear) and quiet are the norm. If you want peace and quiet with rewarding fishing this is a great escape from the busy life.
