Went out of key largo today, I already had fresh speedo and ballyhoo so we headed straight to the yellowtail spot and had them nice size tails behind the boat and the current was heading south and very slow to none, so the tails didn’t want to eat, we got 5 tails there and 5 triggers and a rainbow runner, then we left to another spot 5 miles away to find more current and in deeper water we fished 150 and got 7 muttons at this spot and 3 blacks including and undersize that we vented and released, we also got a nice strawberry grouper, then we decided to move to another spot after catching a huge nurse shark. The other spot produced a nice tail and another mutton, every angler caught fish and we headed in with another successful trip, even though it was a tough day to catch fish without a good current. Way to dial in the Mutts & Blacks.
