I made it out a couple of times this last week. I stopped at Wallace's in Hampton and got a couple of eels and tried to wake up the sleepy cat but it would not budge. I managed one small Cobia that came off right at the ski.
Friday I stopped at Grafton fishing supply and got another dozen eels for the weekend. I also ran through the marsh in 98 degree heat for some fiddlers. No luck on the Cobia this weekend but there were hundreds of Rays every where in the Chesapeake Bay. I did catch a lot of small Sea Bass, Oyster Toads, Blowfish and some Triggers.This afternoon it was super calm so I even ran to the Chesapeake Light Tower.
