Looking to take my old man on a fishing trip in November. We would love to catch some billfish, but are more interested in just having a great time. Probably looking to do 3 days of fishing and maybe a day or 2 of diving if there is any in the area.
Thanks in advance!

Central America is probably your best bet that time of year and either Costa Rica or Panama would be the choices. Diving is going to be the trick. The best diving is Costa Rica, (besides Coco, which is 400+/- miles off shore) is in the north, but the winds will be too strong in November.

Like Seth said........Panama! For fishing and diving the Gulf of Chiriqui will not disappoint. Big Black Marlin are around in November at Hannibal Bank and Isla Montuosa. The diving at Isla Secas and Coiba are phenomenal. Plus a little Panama City nightlife and you and your Dad will have a great time!
Make sure you go in late November. The weather can be chancy too early in the month.
Generally panama has the best fishing, but it is pricey. The only options are in all inclusive fishing lodges. In Costa Rica you can stay in regular hotels and fish on charterboats.

They don't have a good reputation here in Charleston.
