I stopped at Grafton Fishing Supply in Yorktown Virginia and picked up some live eels on the way home. It was cloudy but calm so figured I would drop a ski in and hit some buoys in the lower Chesapeake Bay for some Cobia.
Ended up being 15-20 with three to four footers by the time I got where I wanted. I caught three cobia in 45 minutes keeping one at about 42 inches. The 10 mile ride back was not too bad until I had to go through a torrential down pour the last couple of miles. Two hours from beginning to end and had it all cleaned up before dark. I know what I will be cooking soon.
