fished Friday and couldn't land a king had runs but couldn't hook one up, Albert was slaying kings right next to my slide.. Saturday i went a mile or two offshore with a friend in a Carolina skiff, again we had king runs on ribbonfish, but couldn't land one..was starting to get discouraged almost went out and bought some trebles...so finally on Monday i hit Bob Hall Pier again finally broke my king curse landed 3 kings on slide lines all caught on J hooks(took one 36inch king for the table and gave the others away to friends) we were up to 26 kings when i left the pier, the day before they landed 23 kings..bait of choice today was live sardines, threadfin, and watermelon shad..i saw 5 kings go airborne on baits two of those were pushing 15 feet of air, and we had 4 kings on at one point..
my daughter took this video i think she did a good job gonna get a GoPro head mount soon so i can film a little easier..
