The wind died down and the flats fishing for bonefish didn't pick up any. Calm water; but I am just not
seeing what I am believing, which is...no Bonefish for this peak time of year. That doesn't make sense
to many; but I don't know what to even say, except that it is like a Seinfeld episode out there, "It's A
Show About Nothing." If this keeps up, I will run out of ways to describe nothing.
It kind of gives me that empty feeling of ordering extra cheese, that never shows, on a pizza,; so
somewhere out in the universe there is a pile of extra cheese that I have ordered, next to schools of
bonefish that I haven't seen. Maybe I will catch a bonefish when somebody actually puts the correct
amount of cheese on; so it sticks enough to burn the roof of my mouth.
It has got to get better than this, or there is something wrong...maybe with me. Some barracudas, small
sharks, smaller fish, and other flats species, just no bonefish...I don't know. Persistance is all I have
left. Right! It is a sport more difficult than dating and golf!
