So finally after being in the hospital for 5 days and about loosing my thumb and being down for 3 weeks finally got the go ahead to go fishing from the doctor with cast and everything off my recent infected thumb. Its doinggreat healing well looks nasty still have to be easy on it and still do IV's everynight but first day back ......

Fished with the absolute funniest people ever today prob caught 25-30 taugs kept our limit nothing huge and hand full of drum. I was so happy to get back on the water !

Had a charter pull out today. So rounded up a crew my Father,Scott,Blake.Jon and I we headed out with great laughs and beautiful weather. The goal of the day was to put my dads friend Scott on his first Taug boy did he blow that out the water ! We got set up in the parking lot and fishing was pretty slow picking away and scott caught his first taug a short. We continued to picked up a few here and there so current really picked up so we decided to make a move got set up and Jon dropped down fish on ! in the boat a solid 19-20' Taug said I guess I win the big fish dollar today? About fifteen mins later Scott started yelling this fish was bull dogging him down in and out the rocks with his sinker breaking off Scott got him up I grabbed the net got in the boat with joy we all slapped hands a STUD 25' fat taug weighing 9lb 8oz congrats ! we continued to stay right picking up some fish we caught around 35-45 fished kept our limit (20) it was a great day to be on the water with good people. Special thanks to Dave Freeman for coming up after hours to scale this fish weighed 9.54 - box 9.8
