Thanks for viewing our reports! Whether you be a regular or first time visitor we welcome you. Just before I get into the November report I wanted to reflect on what happened this fall so far.
I was totally blown away with the results we had this fall for salmon. The King salmon fishing was consistent but what stood out was the size of the fish. Many guests went home with King's over 30 lbs and a few over 40lbs. On one day we had 2 fish of 42 lbs each and some smaller ones too.We look forward to next year's King return.
I was also quite impressed with the number of Coho that were encountered while fly fishing. On a 5 day trip with 2 fly guys I counted over 100 Coho salmon hooked into, that's quite impressive!Images of these fish can easily be viewed on our Facebook page. You can also see our website re: Fraser river guided fishing
Currently the fishing is still great. November is prime time for Chum salmon and there's a ton of them this year. The other day we were out the water was boiling with Chum's plus a few Coho too.
Sturgeon fishing remains very good with most days producing 10-20 fish and averaging 50-200 lbs.
The salmon fishing will wrap up by December 1st but then there is really good Trout and Steelhead fishing to follow. No shortage of options here in Vancouver!
Best Fishes to all from Captain Brian !
For the sake of wild salmon please do not eat farmed salmon aka: Atlantic, Scottish, Steelhead. The industry is spreading lethal diseases to wild fish stocks and yet is doing nothing to stop this. This is an industry that doesn't belong in our oceans. Please see more HERE
