Default comparisons

201 Aquasport Osprey vs 214 Cobia vs 21 Angler...these are being considered...Aquasport seems to have not such a deep hule...is this troublesome on rougher than desired seas?

Default wide vs deep

This is less troublesome for a more shallower deadrise in the stern. A deeper V has a tendency of rolling while at anchor, where a flatter stern works to stabilize the boat. When underway, the shallower deadrise will get on plane faster, though it will be at a slight disadvantage in heavier seas. A shalower deadrise is preferable in a boat at anchor - a fishing boat
